Abstract

The following paper is the result of the social and cultural work represented by the Itinerant Museum San Benito in its interaction with the communities
and different confraternities of vassals of San Benito of the eastern coast subregions and south of Maracaibo Lake with the purpose of building spaces for the study, promotion and diffusion of cult of San Benito de Palermo, the chimbánguele and its relevance, as symbols of the cultural diversity represented by afrodescendants, indigenous and criollos.
