Abstract

In Latin America, specifically Venezuela, has been severely affected by the factors of globalization, this at the same time has affected the educational event, taking more importance cultures and histories of others, nowadays have achieved that students are unaware of their social reality in their communities. Relevant is the proposal of new learning content for teaching history, while showing the transformation of the new citizen and citizen with reflective qualities criticism about their daily held in the Parish Rómulo Betancourt Cabimas municipality. The approach was achieved with community residents and faculty at UNERMB, through interviews and surveys conducted under the ethnographic method. Finally we must consider the active participation of the community, because with this the right link school-family-community is achieved through orality as a method to achieve the intersubjective dialogue and thus the reconstruction of historical memory.
