This qualitative research, conducted within the socio-critical paradigm and utilizing Participatory Action Research, aims to implement the "Sardine Spawning" dance as a pedagogical and cultural expression in the "Pedro Duarte" Bolivarian Primary School in the Tinaco Municipality of Cojedes. The study is grounded in Vygotsky's Sociocultural Theory (1975), Freire's Critical Theory (1972), and Giroux's Theory of Resistance (2014), as exponents of the emancipatory developments of critical pedagogies in Latin America and the world. The results facilitated the sociocultural reconstruction of the natural phenomenon of the Tinaco River, strengthening local identity and a sense of belonging within the educational community. It is concluded that dance, as a professional and instructional process, fosters values of discipline and respect for cultural and environmental heritage.Downloads
